We are so delighted to announce a new range of handmade luxury dog beds all made to order at our workshops in Felsted, Essex. Although we’re known for our bespoke handmade kitchens, Humphrey Munson is a design-led company that offers a range of oak accent wood finishes in our projects.
With so many clients sharing their newly designed kitchens with their canine companions, the company’s Design Director, Peter Humphrey, opted to design a freestanding dog bed that clients could order alongside their kitchen: “It doesn’t matter if it’s a kitchen project in the country or the town, our dog-loving clients want to ensure their beloved pets have a comfortable and spacious area to call their own and this freestanding dog bed fits the bill perfectly.”
Designed and handmade using traditional joinery techniques at Humphrey Munson’s workshops in Felsted, Essex, each dog bed is set on four sturdy feet with a sweeping curve that was inspired by the company’s traditional swan neck drawers used in their projects. Each dog bed is, of course, handmade using dovetail joints – a mainstay of traditional English cabinetmaking.

HM Berkeley oak, Portobello oak or Classic oak
Names or phrases (depending on the size chosen) can be engraved onto the front of the beds for a truly bespoke touch.
