Here are the best 9 for Humphrey Munson in 2018…

1. Walk in pantry @ the Sevenoaks Project

This walk in pantry is concealed behind a tall Longford cupboard door and opens up to reveal this secret space. The door and frame are painted in Top Hat, with our new bespoke colour Trim using for the interior cabinetry. The spice and condiment rack on the door and ladder inside are finished in Portobello oak – the same as the rest of the kitchen. The lovely floor tiles are called Earl Grey and come from the H|M Stone Library. See more of this project here.

2. Utility Room @ the Country House Project, Cotwolds

We loved working on the design of this utility room at a beautiful country house in the Cotswolds and this sink positioned under the window works so perfectly. We incorporated a bespoke door rack under the sink to allow for each access to essential cleaning products. The Nickleby cabinetry is finished in Tailored Grey with polished nickel Quilp hardware. 3. Boot Room @ the Orchard House Project

The configuration of this cabinetry has inspired so many projects in 2018 because it really provides the perfect balance of closed tall storage and bench seating so you always have a spot to put your wellies on. To see more of this project and other boot rooms we’ve worked on, take a look here.

4. Walk in pantry @ the Ingatestone Project

The walk in pantry has become one of the most requested ancillary rooms for our kitchen projects especially when paired with the glazed Georgian style doors we supply – seen above painted in Top Hat. The interior artisan shelving is also painted in Top Hat with quartz worktops providing additional countertop space for storing prepared dishes etc. See more of this walk in pantry at the Ingatestone project here.

5. Day Pantry @ the Humphrey Munson showroom in St. Albans

The stunning day pantry at the St. Albans showroom has weathered Smithfield oak on the exterior Spenlow cabinetry as well as the interior. The Humphrey Munson day pantry is an essential component of our kitchens for many clients but for those with less space we can make a mini pantry using a countertop cupboard like the one in this project in Kent.

6. Swan neck drawers @ the Georgian Farmhouse Project, Hampshire

We love the look of cupboard doors but sometimes you need the functionality of drawers to keep life in the kitchen easy – who wants to be rooting around for a rogue pan lid when you’ve got better things to do.

These swan neck drawers provide the solution that so many clients love to include into their kitchen design – the drawers pictured above are finished in classic oak and made by hand using dovetail joints just like all our drawers. You can see more of this kitchen at a lovely Georgian farmhouse project in Hampshire here.

7. Utility Room @ the Langton House Project, Theydon Bois

A super smart utility room with Spenlow cabinetry and polished nickel Quilp handles. The Miele washing machine and tumble dryer are the most reliable and durable machines on the market and because they look so sleek these are left on show – it is a utility room after all. The Ionian tap and rinse are also finished in polished nickel and are by Perrin & Rowe – another company known for their excellent quality. See more of the utility room and others we’ve worked on here.

8. Double countertop appliance cupboard @ the Wilton House project, Brentwood

Countertop cupboards are extremely popular with clients wanting to achieve a clear and uncluttered look and feel for their kitchens. This one in the Wilton House project is actually a double countertop cupboard and hides away the toaster, coffee machine, kitchen aid mixer and a microwave! Take a look here to see inside.

9. Longford Pantry @ the Humphrey Munson showroom in Felsted, Essex

And last but not least, one of our favourite spaces in the Humphrey Munson showroom in Felsted, Essex. The Longford cabinetry is finished in Farthing II with Linen used for the interior paint colour. Bray handles are finished in bronze and tie in perfectly with the lighting on the cabinetry and the flooring is Manoir limestone from H|M Stone Library.

Wishing you all a very happy new year and all the best for an incredible 2019!
