The dream utility room does exist! It’s here in all its glory – Miele laundry appliances, a lovely large butler sink with a hanging rail integrated into the shelf above so you have somewhere to hang the ironing as you go. Tall storage includes two large thermostatically controlled drying cupboards and a housekeeping cupboard. Perfect.

A made-to-measure home
Returning from holiday to find water gushing across the kitchen floor was not the welcome home our clients expected. ‘The flood was a nightmare but the silver lining in the cloud was that it prompted us to get going on a new kitchen.’ It was the appeal of the classic English country house aesthetic that drew the clients to Humphrey Munson and so we ended up designing, manufacturing and installing this incredible project in Suffolk spanning the large open plan kitchen, walk in pantry, sitting area, utility room and boot room. We also designed the party barn prep kitchen and boot room area which really come into their own when entertaining en masse.
Inspiration

We’re proud to design and manufacture all our kitchens at our workshop in Felsted where the traditional joinery of the past meets the technical innovation of the present. We employ only the finest cabinetmakers whose passion for their craft is proudly displayed in each beautiful handmade kitchen. As well as kitchens, we also design, manufacture and install cabinetry throughout the rest of the home. In order to offer a truly bespoke kitchen design service, we provide a curated selection of accent woods, worktops and hardware along with our own paint range produced exclusively for Humphrey Munson by Mylands.
