Sometimes when you look at a building that has been extended, you just know something isn’t right – almost like the proportions are off. Balancing the need to create more space while maintaining a harmonious aesthetic that allows the design to fit in perfectly is no mean feat. But this is something Westbury Garden Rooms get right every single time. The architectural designers at Westbury are renowned for their crisp precision, attention to detail and creativity which results in amazing light and airy spaces.
Westbury are based just down the road from us in Essex at South Woodham Ferrers and offer workshop tours so you can see their skilled craftsmen in action. It’s really incredible to see their showrooms and then go into the workshop and actually see the structures being assembled. We know how surprised our customers are when they see how much work goes into making just one drawer for their kitchen, so seeing part of a new structure being built would be really interesting.
One of our recent kitchen projects, Ashurst House, was an extended farmhouse with an orangery by Westbury. Ashurst House is one of those absolutely extraordinary kitchen designs that just take your breathe away. We were delighted to work with the clients to design and make their kitchen which comprises a boot room, large open plan kitchen dining area, scullery and walk-in pantry.
