Position Overview:
Humphrey Munson is seeking a dynamic and driven coordinator in business development to join our team at the Chelsea Showroom in London. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our client interactions, responsible for introducing prospective clients to the exceptional world of Humphrey Munson. Your ability to understand our clients’ needs, showcase our exquisite designs, and coordinate events will play a pivotal role in driving our brand forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Be the welcoming face of Humphrey Munson, guiding prospective clients through our showroom, explaining our design philosophy, and answering their queries with a keen understanding of our products and services.
Design Consultations: Conduct design consultations with potential clients, helping them explore the possibilities of our bespoke kitchens and cabinetry, and assisting in their decision-making process.
Event Planning: Organise and coordinate showroom events, including product / design launches, workshops, and industry networking events. Ensure seamless logistics, guest list management, and overall event success.
Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key industry professionals, interior designers, architects, and real estate agents to expand our network and drive referral business.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our product offerings, design trends, and innovations to provide informed advice and recommendations to clients.
Sales Support: Work closely with the Creative Director and Design Studio Head, and collaborate with our design team to facilitate the design process, from initial client engagement to project handover for preliminary issue, ensuring clients’ needs are met at every stage. Attending the design presentation meetings in Chelsea where appropriate alongside the relevant member of the design team to ensure a smooth client experience.
Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties related to showroom visits, client follow-ups, and event planning logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the luxury design sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and event planning capabilities.
- A passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet company goals.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- A valid driver’s licence may be required for client visits.
