Dante is an award-winning aperitivo bar in New York City and it is taking up residency in The Ham Yard Hotel London this summer: here’s what you need know.
Dante was originally established in 1915 as a modernist café in New York’s historic downtown neighbourhood of Greenwich Village and was taken over, renovated and given a brilliant new lease of life by three passionate industry experts from Australia. The new Dante has quickly risen to become one of the most high profile bars in the world and currently ranks an impressive #16 on the prestigious list of the World’s 50 best bars.
The Ham Hard Hotel’s exclusive rooftop terrace will become the summer home to this exciting pop-up bar, with Dante’s very own key bar staff flying in to execute the unique drinks and famous service Dante is known for.
During the day you can soak up the glorious British evening sunshine with breathtaking views over the rooftops of Soho as you sample a menu of the most exciting cocktails in the world today. One we are particularly keen to try is the ‘Summer 2018’ with Grey Goose vodka, Martini Rosato, fresh watermelon, strawberry, rhubarb, sparkling rosé but also the ‘Chamomile Negroni’ made with Bombay Sapphire gin, Martini Ambrato, Italian bitter and chamomile mist also sounds incredible.
As well as the fabulous cocktails and views, Ham Yard will also offering a unique brunch in collaboration with Dante. You will be able to sample a tantalising menu of dishes including smoked salmon, dill mascarpone and cucumber pickle on toasted walnut and honey bread or grilled focaccia with San Daniele ham, grilled white peach and arugula.
Dante will be at Ham Yard from 28th July – 5th August. Tickets for exclusive access to the roof terrace and a welcome drink will cost £20 each and tickets for the Dante rooftop brunch and a welcome drink will cost £38 – the perfect summer treat.
