Exciting News We Can’t Wait To Share!

It’s so wonderful to finally share the news that Humphrey Munson is coming to London, and to one of our favourite spots in the capital – the King’s Road.

We’ve been searching for a new home in London for a little while but it’s tricky to find the right spot and the right size too.

Then, after a visit to Waterworks late last year to confirm the taps for our new HM bathroom showroom (more on that later) we spotted the space next door was available – it was just perfect.

Not too big, not too small, just enough space to showcase two kitchens, a boot room / entrance hall, walk in pantry, utility room, wine room, outdoor kitchen and bathroom. We’ve had to completely gut the building so there’s a full renovation currently taking place and we’re working with our preferred suppliers from the world of interiors to ensure the spaces look and feel just like you’re walking into your dream home.

The new HM London showroom will be located in the heart of the Chelsea Design District at 583 King’s Road, London SW6 2EH and will be opening late May / early June – we don’t have an exact date yet because as we know so well, to achieve the perfect finish does take time and you can’t rush these things.

What’s really exciting about the new showroom is that it will feature an entirely new contemporary kitchen design by Peter Humphrey, the founder of Humphrey Munson. The Mezzanine kitchen is a modern design, with a streamlined aesthetic made using natural materials. It is a complete departure from the HM classic kitchen designs you’re used to seeing, but it retains the ubiquitous HM impeccable quality and exquisite craftsmanship. “The simplicity, proportion and balance you see in our classic HM projects is still very much a part of the new Mezzanine design” says Peter Humphrey, “but the deliberate use of natural oak finishes, layered textures and innovative cabinetry design gives this contemporary kitchen a tactile warmth that is so important in the home”.

We will keep you posted on progress, but do follow along on instagram via humphreymunson and mrphumphrey to see behind the scenes progress.
