The Ivy Chelsea Garden is the perfect combination of sophistication and understated luxury and a really lovely spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the King’s Road in Chelsea. The stunning outdoor area at the Ivy Chelsea Garden was designed by the super talented award-winning landscapers and design specialists Cameron Landscapes and Gardens. Having previously visited the Ivy Chelsea Garden’s main restaurant, we wanted to focus more on the outdoor area and get a little garden design inspiration at the same time…
Passionate about both commercial and domestic gardens and delivering a full and expert service across London, Cameron Gardens are recognised for their dynamic design, reliability and extensive plant knowledge resulting in unforgettably beautiful spaces brimming with colour and texture.
Over the last two decades Cameron Gardens have prided themselves on being a one-stop-shop, which means they are able to build outside spaces by ensuring true integrity of the design is never compromised. By working with top nurseries, interior designers, lighting specialists and communicating with clients in a personal manner, Cameron Garden can ensure their clients’ needs are always met.
The whole look and feel of the Ivy Chelsea Garden is distinctly vibrant with just a whiff of nostalgic England. Most of the outside furnishings are just as colourful as the foliage that surrounds the garden, which, as the main focus, draws people in with its array of climbers, exotic palms and scattered pots.
There’s also a delightful orangery with an eclectic mix of pots, plants, and hanging urns which brings the outside in and is so romantic by candlelight or the ideal place to sit out all during a warm mid-summer evening with friends. With the clever use of predominantly evergreen plants that encompass the interior and exterior of the Ivy Chelsea Garden, each of the multiple areas blend seamlessly together yet manage to sustain their individual personality and style.
The covered upper terrace is full of lush foliage to give the impression of dining in woodland no matter what time of year it is. Much of the outside area has hidden heaters and fire pits for cooler evenings without distracting the eye from the more natural surroundings.
Throughout the Ivy Garden Chelsea the abundance of greenery, layering of textures and hues really enhances the atmosphere of relaxed sophistication at this one of a kind eatery designed by true garden masters.
