From noble origins, to offices, then wedding venue, this Tudor Manor House has worn many hats in its 500-year history. Its current custodians returned it to a family home. While its Tudor incumbents wouldn’t have had running water, there are now five bathrooms and this master bathroom is the undisputed jewel in the crown.

A made-to-measure home
The restoration of this historic Grade I listed Tudor manor house was the project of a lifetime for our clients who wanted to create a huge open plan kitchen and dining area which was the start of the project.
We also designed, manufactured and installed cabinetry for other rooms including the walk in pantry, study, master bathroom and dressing rooms. For us, this project is the epitome of the classic English country house design.
Inspiration

We’re proud to design and manufacture all our kitchens at our workshop in Felsted where the traditional joinery of the past meets the technical innovation of the present. We employ only the finest cabinetmakers whose passion for their craft is proudly displayed in each beautiful handmade kitchen. As well as kitchens, we also design, manufacture and install cabinetry throughout the rest of the home. In order to offer a truly bespoke kitchen design service, we provide a curated selection of accent woods, worktops and hardware along with our own paint range produced exclusively for Humphrey Munson by Mylands.
