Bibury Farm Barns | Cotswolds

Following a lengthy restoration project Bibury Farm Barns now offers luxury self-catered stone barns, each with its own identity and design to combine both comfort and style in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

The farmstead is set on the edge of a working arable and livestock farm with each of the barns having their own long history of housing everything from crops to livestock and most recently, machinery.

During the restoration, many certificates for prize-winning livestock were found tacked to the huge beams in The Grain Store – most of these were saved, cleaned and now hang proudly on the walls.

Styled by the award winning interior designer and author of ‘Twenty First Century Cotswolds’ Pippa Paton Design, the barns blend contemporary style with rustic character perfectly. Embracing the exposed stone and oak beams both synonymous with the Cotswold surroundings, leaving the barns feeling incredibly impressive, as well as cosy and homely.

The barns were of course designed with holidaymakers and ‘staycationers’ in mind, but their design was far from overlooked when it came to their imprint on the planet. The site is free from both gas and oil, instead opting to use ground-source heat pumps to heat the water and the properties year round. The natural bath products provided are refilled rather than replaced and within the interiors, natural and sustainable materials have been used where possible.

As the name suggests this was once the home to the bulls, in particular Falcon the prize winning bull at Bibury Farm. Now, with an open-plan space and Scandi-chic design this one-storey conversion is perfect for a getaway get-together.
