Health & Wellness Retreat | Daylesford & Bamford Spa

Published:

After huge popularity following previous retreats, we are so excited to see that Daylesford are offering another Health & Wellness weekend retreat. An opportunity to fully experience the very best of both Daylesford cookery school and Bamford Haybarn Spa, whilst staying in one of the idyllic Cotswold cottages – it sounds like a pretty perfect way to spend a weekend to us!

The collaborative retreat will include Daylesford’s resident nutritionist Rhaya Jordan, as well as yoga teachers that will provide guests with a series of relaxing classes, whilst the expert therapists at Haybarn Spa will provide restorative massages and facials.

Bamford Haybarn Spa combines physical alignment with emotional and nutritional balance. Their team of experts will guide guests to achieving harmony, health and happiness in body and the mind with carefully curated treatments as well as mind and movement classes. The Bamford philosophy is all about taking time to slow the mind, relax and unwind as this is a necessity, not a luxury.

Over the weekend guests can enjoy both hands on and demonstrative classes at the Daylesford cookery school. Each delicious nutrient dense dish will be created using organic produce from the Daylesford farm, market garden and will be backed up Rhaya’s nutritional expertise. From raw food to super smoothies, energising snacks and wholesome broths the classes will help you to feel energised and rejuvenated.

Top Tip: Rhaya will also be available for short 1:1 sessions over the weekend for individually tailored invaluable advice.

So, after a morning yoga class, a slow mindful walk through the market garden followed by a treatment and cookery class, guests are then invited to an unforgettable ‘Chef’s Table Supper’ on the Saturday evening. This will take place in the cookery school where the chefs will create a seasonal tasting menu paired with fine wines from the cellar to enjoy.

As for accommodation, Daylesford has that covered too. The cottages offer a peaceful haven to restore and relax you. Each guest will be welcomed on arrival with a hamper of healthy and delicious Daylesford goodies to help kick start your weekend of exciting activities.

You’ll also be pleased to know that both single and twin rooms are available over the weekend in the shared holiday cottages, you can choose from The Egg Store, The Wood Store or The Potting Shed.

The Daylesford Health & Wellness retreat runs for just three days from Friday 13th September 2019 – Monday 15th September 2019 and costs £995 pp for twin occupancy or £1,295 pp for single occupancy. Prices include three nights of accommodation, all course materials, spa treatments, food and refreshments, consultations and for those who would prefer to stay elsewhere an activity only option is available.
