Staub | White Truffle

We are so delighted to share Staub’s newest colour addition to their already impressive cookware collection – White Truffle. Drawing inspiration from the white truffle fungi, affectionately known as the ‘diamond of the kitchen’, Staub’s newest colour is the perfect addition to both classic and contemporary kitchens and interiors. The new finish is rich and glossy, complimenting natural materials like wood, linens and stone. We love how simple and refined this colour feels – it’s definitely a new favourite here at HM!

White Truffle is available from August 2019, and the new cast iron and ceramic collections include plates, bowls, dishes and mugs so you can match everything effortlessly.

Making a name for itself in 1974, the Staub enamelled cast iron cocotte is loved by home cooks and chefs alike. Each piece is individually produced using tome honoured techniques and undergo over 100 inspections to ensure each pot is of the very best quality. What’s more is Staub products are suitable for use on gas and induction hobs and there’s 13 varieties of Cocotte available in the new White Truffle finish.

Don’t be fooled into thinking the lighter colour will be harder to keep immaculate because Staub pots are very easy to clean. The matte black enamelled interior is fired at 800°c for 30 minutes after each coating which helps cook food to perfection but will also stop it from sticking…Plus it’s exceptionally scratch resistant and easy to use. The exterior is created using a special enamelling technique where the layer is almost 100% glass and can easily wipe clean.
